Mike Urban, VP Identity, Fraud and Compliance, Equifax

ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

Sophistication in technology brings continuously evolving fraud schemes to the industry. Financial institutions with traditional fraud practices find themselves struggling to keep up. Today’s FIs have a tall order: not only are they tasked with enhancing customer experiences while maintaining regulatory requirements, but also with reducing costs associated with fraud and proving themselves as innovators. Yet, current incidents of new account, account takeover and synthetic identity fraud are expanding at a rate of 100%+.

Hear how Financial Institutions can be using proactive processes to identify fraud, reduce false positives and properly assign collections. Join us for a webinar as we discuss growing fraud trends and emerging tactics to help you optimize and win against fraud.

THIS WEBINAR WILL COVER:

  1. Changes in technology that bring new fraud schemes to the industry
  2. Fraud tactics including: stealing, borrowing, misrepresenting and fabricating identities
  3. Common challenges FIs face with fraud and how financial institutions can combat

TOP 3 BENEFITS TO ATTENDEES:

  1. Learn key steps and best practices for battling fraud tactics that are impacting your bottom-line
  2. Hear how to detect synthetic identity fraud before it takes hold and creates a ‘bust-out’, leaving FIs with significant losses and no legitimate party to take to collections
  3. Discover how other FIs are uncovering and addressing fraud tactics by leveraging a more layered fraud defense with a diverse range of data sets, sources and capabilities
